These Terms of Service govern your use of the VillageShop application operated by Jack Morgan ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

VillageShop is a platform that enables community village shops to manage volunteer rotas and coordinate ordering. Access is by invitation only — you must be invited by a shop manager to create an account.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
• You must not share your login credentials with anyone else.
• You must provide accurate information when setting up your account.
• You must be 18 years of age or older to use the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with the operation of the Service
• Submit false or misleading information

4. Volunteer responsibilities

If you are a registered volunteer, you are responsible for honouring shift commitments you accept and cancelling in advance where possible. Repeated non-attendance may result in your account being suspended by a shop manager.

5. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

6. Intellectual property

All content, design, and code within the Service is owned by or licensed to Jack Morgan. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of it without written permission.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed £100.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these terms. You may delete your account at any time via the Profile page in the app.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
